Just got my first free service done from TATA authorized centre and I am facing this new problem of request sensor not working
Checked for solution on internet
There were few solutions but did not match my problem type.
one was related to issues during lockdown — this is due to not using the car for long time. Mine was continuously running so i definitely did not had this problem.
Another one was related to a carbon deposit on the buttons .
I kept thinking about the problem and then it appeared to me that i was having rattling noise issue at the driver door.
The mechanic had opened the door cabinet and we found a nut lying there which was making this sound.
During this opening of cabinet there were lot of connections that were removed and re-connected back. I was sure it is something to do with the connector but i did not want to go again to the service center for this simple issue as it will take the entire day.
so i thought of checking it myself. I opened my bike’s toolbox and tried to open the car door cabinet myself. unscrewed the control section and tried to pull the cabinet and voila it opened.
Now i tried to peep inside the cabinet and found an open connector. i knew this was the one but did not know where to connect it. After further pulling the cabinet saw an assembly to plug it. IT WORKED !!! 🙂
